Why am I a candidate?

I support Lijst Calimero, because it is the party that I trust to represent my interests as a student and perhaps could represent the aspiration of many students of UG. During this academic year, I’ve been in contact with Bagus Hadiredjo because of my active participation in the study association of Lugus which introduced me to the party. I believe Calimero is the party that delivers a better University that bears thorough knowledge and acts with the interests of students.

Why vote for me?

Lijst Calimero knows what matters most for students since it stays in touch with many organisations in Groningen. I have always had good conversations with them about improving the quality of study for students as well as disability issues which has not been highlighted. In the past year, Calimero achieved a lot when it comes to the developments on the topic of the mental wellbeing of students and small-scale education. These are the topics of importance to me as a student.

As a concrete example, more student psychologists have been hired, a reflection room has been created in the University library and the second edition of the Wellbeing week has taken place. A new minor in Rhetorics has been developed and 5 million euros are spent additionally to improve the student-staff ratio.

Calimero delivers a better UG, therefore, vote Lijst Calimero.
